On 7 July 2026, the Japan Ajinomoto Foundation Scholarship (JAFS) handed over a collection of educational booklets to the Central Department of Home Science, Faculty of Humanities and Health Science, Tribhuvan University. The resource materials cover a wide range of topics, including child nutrition, adolescent health, maternal nutrition, elderly nutrition and health, balanced diets, and other community health and nutrition subjects. The handover aims to strengthen academic resources available to students and faculty members, supporting both teaching and research in the field of Home Science. The booklets were officially received by Santosh Giri, Chairperson of the Central Department of Home Science, in the presence of representatives from JAFS. This initiative reflects the shared commitment of JAFS and Tribhuvan University to promoting nutrition education, health awareness, and evidence-based learning for future professionals.
